If you are really having a hard time finding solo spots look no further then the missions...plenty of rediculous opportunities there.

Sorry for not wanting to spend countless hours trying to find a farming spot, I'd rather play the game.

if not, then you should learn it and beable to farm FoW solo even to the point of having to tank a few skale while the shadow army slinks away from an unfortunate encounter.
Whats this got to do with cantha?
*cough loose chunks of unmentionable in j0r face*
pardon me? E V E R Y T H I N G!
This build has to do with every area in the game, I can use it to farm imps, ettins, mantids, afflicted, etc etc.
You need a lot of AC, and this build has it. The self healing and the immediate efficiency in a live or die situation (requirement) is met completely. (I've even tried it in Alliance battles and ya, it works on players as long as they are stupid enuf to try and stand toe to toe.
My modifications to the build;
Everything is the same except for the following;
Armor - Stays the same but you switch to Sentinels in Kaening.
Weapons - Use FDS on plants, and ICS on pesky fire elementals. (just make sure you got a hilt mod for speicific monsters whos resists are low to an element.
Attributes -- STR 14
- SWORD 12
- TACTICS 13
Skills - Reposte as extra attack skill vs assassins otherwise - Sun and moon slash with 100 blades and instead of mending, take watchful spirit! You can actually cast it before most things get an interrupt off!
Basically, I suggest taking this build and trying to solo (with a few hench) as much of cantha as you can. From what i've noticed, it actually fairs better than 2 standard noob / voob warriors (voob = vetran who turned back into noob because of expansion)
So ya,
great build. mostly all u need.

you do realize a majority of the people that have posted in this thread probaly have already tried out this build or something very similar and concluded that it doesnt work in most the areas right? sure it might work if the spawn is right, but any time else, your gonna get messed up by necros, mesmers, eles, or something else more nasty, the "LOTS OF AC/AL" and mending/watchful spirit doesnt matter anymore when your being hit by stuff that ignores armor or takes away adrenaline or interupts healing signet and casts several degens on you all at once while it takes away your energy.

well the first place I found that was half way decent for farming minor and maj runes are those damn yetis in the bluffs. i had a lvl11 a/w and could solo all the yetis outside and inside of the caves. as we all know at the start of factions runes for assasins and rits were hard to come by. so when i seen the yetis that range from lvl 13-17 i thought about how the ettins outside of beetletun are only lvl 15 and they drop golds. wasn't sure if i'd get any golds (which i haven't btw) but i knew i could come across some minor runes at least. and i did...which i sold to peeps in town for at least 1k each and up.i know its not the max drops people are looking for but until the rune traders are fully in stock with the new class runes this is a start. if anybody gets any golds there let me know. Dark

You spent 2 hours ONLY and you're already looking for someone else's build? cough cookie cutter cough. Most of the "true" farmers out there have been farming endlessly. Moving place to place. Swapping builds, professions, skills and attributes. You my friend farmed a lousy 2 hours. Do your homework first. When you have some knowledge to share with other farmers perhaps we'll have something to share with you.

So you'd rather have us share our knowledge with you after all our hard work and testing so you can go spend "countless hours" farming with a cookie cutter build that's none of your own? You don't want to spend countless hours to find a spot. I suppose we should all drop what we are doing and find that spot for you instead?

I CALL YOU OUT. If I randomly pick a spot "anywhere" in Cantha I want you to solo it for me as a demonstration. NO DYING. NO EXCUSES. Heck for that matter I'll even call you out with this build in certain areas of Tyria that I can guarantee you can't solo. I'll bring 6 other witnesses to watch you're triumph/failure. Up for it or is this just a bluff?

Hmm....last time I checked theres a whole BUILDS SECTION where people SHARE there builds. Since when was it a crime to use someone elses build? If they post it on here, its sharing. Im not beating the crap outta people to find out there build, Im asking if there gonna share it.
Ok guys, drop everything and tell me your buildz lolz!!!1111oneoneshiftplus1
Honestly, I work for things. But Im not gonna spend like 8 hours looking for a place to farm on GW. Other people are willing to spend there time to share with others. You obviously have no clue what that is.
http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/s....php?t=3028612
You gonna go rant there, too?
EDIT: Try using the EDIT BUTTON instead of posting 3 times in the course of 10 mins.

Some people have lives. I find two hours searching is a reasonable amount of time given to finding a place to farm. He's asking for help so if you don't have it why do you post? Just because you and other people like to search for farming places doesn't mean everyone else likes spending "Endless" hours searching. If you have something helpful to add to this post then reply. Otherwise, don't bother. It proves you haven't seen the sun today since not only do you have endless hours trying to find new farming spots, but you also reply to posts just to argue with someone seeking help.

I havent made it through the game yet with my warrior however I have been using my necro and found several places that are very applicable. The riposte build is still a great build and can take alot of enemies as there are groups of melees all over the area however the time to money ratio seems to be steep. Also as far as farming builds being targeted toward one type of enemy that is not so true a warrior can solo greneths which is very fun and challenging.
However there was an assassin boss that alot of people have been trying to get the daggers from so I decided to give him a try what I found was killing him 10 times alone only netted me 2 drops 46 gold, and a plague idol. The worst enemy I have seen is gonna be the mesmers use cryof frustration and diversion which will kill a stance warrior relying on healing signet.
Dont try to say run mending as I will never equip that noob skill on a warrior and waste the points in healing. Even soloing thirsty I dont waste my time using mending. Dolyaks and balthazars however!!
